Doctor Who Jigsaw - Day 5

Wow, amazingly after around 10 years the pieces are still all there! The jigsaw is actually double sided (the reverse is a list of all the old tv episodes with original transmission dates etc. - as on the white paper poster included) Dunno what to do with it now, either stick it back in the loft or maybe put it on Ebay.

Doctor Who Jigsaw - Day 4

Here's where I got to last night, no edge pieces missing, but on to the hardest part now. wish me luck!

Doctor Who Jigsaw - Day 3

FOUND the piece I thought was missing, was sneakily hiding under another piece! Still not sure if there are any other pieces missing, will find out sooner or later. Made a start on the edge pieces before staring into the blue abyss of swirly galaxy and stars. It's really starting to take shape now, Will try to get the rest of the edges finished tonight.

Doctor Who Jigsaw - Day 2

Spent some more time doing the easy bits. Looks like there's at least one piece missing - next to colin Bakers face, can't see any other pieces with white numbers on them lying around! Doh!
Going to try to get the edges done tommorrow before tackling the vast expanse of various shades of blue. 0_0

Wish me luck!

Doctor who Jigsaw - Day 1

Rummaging around in the loft, I came across an old Doctor who Jigsaw Puzzle from the mid 90s. I think I actually bought it from the Doctor who exhibition at Longleat. It's such a hard puzzle I've never fully completed it after several attempts.

This time, I intend to finish it completely (at least if there are no pieces missing!) and will post the progress to my blog here!

So here we go... Day 1 - basically, done all the easy bits, the big logo and the Doctors faces...

British Dalek Army???

I heard rumours there's gonna be a Doctor Who episode with Daleks fighting under command of Churchill. Sounds a bit far fetched to me!

Got me a Squidoo! Do you?

Having been trying to avoid signing up for more time wasting exercises, while trying to be more productive! I stumbled across Squidoo. At first it just seemed like another Facebook or blogging style app but it does have some cool features.

Please check out my first proper Lens (That's basically a page on Squidoo - I had no idea either!)

Parrotee's Squidoo Store

I've put up a Crazy Caption Competition and if you're a fellow Zazzler you can add a link to your own store on my list at the bottom.

I got a squidoo! Whatever that is!

I just joined squidoo to try to promote my parody t-shirts and stuff. They seem to have a close relationship with zazzle and the tools seem pretty cool.

More help needed + update

Matt Dale of Whoniverse which includes the brilliant http://www.millenniumeffect.co.uk/ has very kindly offered to help out with the website and hosting of Cheeky Monkey Games. THANKS MATT!

I've also had enquiry from somebody hopefully wanting to contribute music.

I'd still love to hear from any flash programmers out there interested in making an online version of the Doctor Who Isometric fandom games.

There's no pay involved but anybody wanting to make Doctor Who games for fun who can contribute anything will get full credit on site and in-game with links to their own sites.

If you know anybody who can help out please email me: ric @ cheeky monkey games .co.uk (no spaces)

Cheers ;)

Ric

Sketch Cards

Been doing some sketch card practice. I'm doing some for charity soon if they come through and if successful I'm hoping to do some real ones too. It's worth a try as I love drawing anyway.
